Regalia left the drydock no. 7 on February 3, 2014.  This semi-submersible accommmodation vessel stayed in our yard for maintance.
Earlier, in 2009 the vessel underwent a major life extension refurbishment and refit.


Port Rigmar

In July 2007, the “Ekofisk Accommodation” Jack-Up “Port Rigmar” docked in the mammoth drydock. The main work consisted of the strengthening of one of the unit's legs, making her suitable to continue operating as the Ekofisk main accommodation unit. Specific for this job was the use of high yield strength steel ("Dilimax 690") and the position to actually execute the work: at approximately 100 metres above the dock floor. Simultaneously, the regulatory class special survey, bottom plate renewals and the installation of new and additional marine equipment like offshore cranes, water makers, and air conditioning units were carried out

MSV Regalia

MSV Regalia, owned by Profsafe Rigs Pte. Ltd entered dock number 7 in December 2008 for a major upgrade. The scope of work not only enhanced the vessel's facilities as an accommodation rig, but also extended the structural lifetime of Regalia. The refit included partial removal and replacement of accommodation. The new accommodation is state-of-the-art with single occupancy cabins, all with en suite facilities and NORSOK compliant. All six main engines and generators are removed and replaced with new. Furthermore, all the pontoons, columns and bracing, including under deck, box girder and deck, have been blasted and painted. While at dry-dock, the five year special periodical survey has been performed including the renewal of all main class and flag certificates.

COSL Rival

The COSLRival (ex Port Reval), managed by the Norwegian company OSM Offshore AS, is an Aker H-3 (enhanced) semi-submersible accommodation rig. She was built in 1976 as drilling rig and converted to accommodation rig in 2004, The rig arrived early May 2009. The rig was dry-docked in the mammoth dry-dock no. 7 for general class renewal surveys, inclusive of all inspections, overhauls and repairs. The activities also contains upgrading works of electrical switchboards, piping systems and overhaul of (marine)-equipment, deck crane reinforcement and overhaul of main gangway. Further the yard carries out a complete paint program.

The Ekofisk Accommodation Jack-Up rig COSL Rigmar of owner COSL Drilling Europe AS, a subsidiary to China Oilfield Services Limited, arrived at the the Keppel Verolme yard on May 12, 2012.

The rig was in our yard for its 5 year SPS. On 20 June the rig undocked, 5 days before schedule. Client's appreciation resulted in a bonus for early delivery and completion without LTI's.
